DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS
The Department offers B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics to students of all streams (Humanities, Commerce and Science) with different optional (credit and qualifying) subjects for each stream. The department also offers Mathematics as a discipline course in B.A. Programme, concurrent course for B.A.(H) and main subject in B.Sc. (H) Chemistry, B.Sc. (H) Biochemistry and B.Sc. Life Sciences. Those pursuing these courses can look forward to develop their logical ability and skills. The possible avenues that could be explored on the basis of this initiation in the subject are Post-Graduation in Mathematics, teaching, Banking, Insurance and Civil Services etc. The faculty consists of dedicated and experienced teachers.
