DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS
The Department of Physics offers Physics as a main subject in B.Sc. (Hons.) Bio-Chemistry B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry and B.Se. (Life Sciences) and is taught as subsidiary subject in B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics. As part of these courses, the knowledge of physics equips graduates of these courses to join fields like Bio-Physics, Bio¬Medical Engineering, Nuclear Science and even Space Programmes. It can also be an input in careers like Teaching, Management, Civil Services etc. Higher studies and research work in physical sciences can be pursued.
